Mckenzie Tate Earley ARTIST STATEMENT:

Storytelling shapes reality, so I tell visual stories of empowerment. Her paintings are held in private collections worldwide.

Rooted in the profound knowing of our individual creative power and the interconnectedness of all things, my artwork amplifies stories of flourishing, offering an imprint of empowerment, connection, and possibility. My artistic practice is a deliberate act of forming narratives that celebrate personal agency, reminding us that we are the architects of our own experience. Rooted in the profound kno

wing of our individual creative power and the interconnectedness of all things, my work amplifies stories of flourishing, offering an imprint of empowerment, connection, and possibility. My paintings are a vibrant and joyful representation of potentiality, a heartfelt offering to life itself. I translate my lived experience and preferred reality onto canvas, inviting viewers to consider what our world would look and feel like when operating from a place of self-love and reverence for all of creation. My perspective is informed by knowing that wellbeing is dominant, guiding me to create and move toward desired realities. While acknowledging the presence of trauma and hardship, I choose to focus on the heart-centered realities I know to be possible, understanding that my perception and expectations directly shape my experience. My art, therefore, serves as a visual embodiment of this compassionate observation, inviting viewers to engage with the world's complexities with a steadfast belief in the potential for beauty and progress. Ultimately, my work is an invitation to cultivate self-love, the foundation for a deeper connection with the natural world. Through quiet moments of introspection and a return to our innate wisdom, we can move beyond passive observation to active co-creation, manifesting a world that honors all life and reflects our highest aspirations. 11 years ago today, I co-exhibited in the show W.I.S.E. with ten other women and a girl in San Francisco, California paying gratitude, homage, and respect to the female aura. This marked the beginning of my awareness of the importance of surrounding myself with conscious women who create beauty in the world.

Paintings exhibited at in TriBeCa, New York City from my collections Connected (2024) and New Era (2025). It was rewarding to co-exhibit with and enjoy how the distinct perspectives of our work came together in dialogue.

Looking forward to the next stop of our world tour! From Bargone Castle, Salsomaggiore, Italy to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico to New York City, I’m excited for where we go next.

I enjoyed speaking with about how self-love and dance are integral to my art and witnessing and ’s conversation about their shared experiences in the NYC Lower Eastside art scene in the 80s. It was fascinating to hear Al speak about his collaboration with Jean-Michel Basquiat and to hear about his and James’s reflections on their friendship with him.

Thank you Al and Emma for your insightful questions and weaving the conversation together at our Artist Talk!

My work lives beyond the four corners of canvas. My paintings breathe. They love. They dance into the environment. They hold space for their beholder to come to them with eyes that can perceive them.

It is my hope that when you truly see my work for the first time, with a soft gaze and awareness, you will realize the loving presence that is there for you.

From my heart to yours,
Mckenzie
