So why trust the cheapest HVAC quote for your home?
We’ve seen it too many times.

We’re finally shaking off the cold, but in Texas, we all know what comes next… that heat isn’t far behind. ☀️

Every year, we get calls from homeowners whose A/C worked fine last season… until the first hot day hits. Then suddenly—it won’t keep up or won’t turn on at all.

The truth is, most of those problems start small and build up over time. A quick tune-up now can save you from sweating it out later.

Right now is the best time to get ahead of it 👇

✅ Full system inspection
✅ Efficiency & safety check
✅ Help prevent costly breakdowns

Limited-Time Offer

Don’t wait until the first hot day to find out something’s wrong.

Important Information About Your Heat Pump in Freezing Weather.

Provided by Comfort Ice Box LLC

Your heat pump is designed to keep working even when it’s below freezing outside.
However, it’s normal to see some frost or light ice on the outdoor unit during cold weather.

What’s Normal
•A thin layer of frost or light ice is normal when it’s below 32°F.
•The system will automatically go into defrost mode to melt the ice.
•You may see steam or hear a change in sound during defrost — that’s part of normal operation.
•Your heat pump may run longer and use auxiliary heat strips to help keep your home warm.

What You Can Do
•Keep snow, ice, and debris cleared away from the outdoor unit.
•Avoid covering the unit, it needs airflow to defrost properly.
•Keep your thermostat at a steady temperature (don’t make big jumps).

When to Switch to “Emergency Heat” and Call for Service

Turn your thermostat to Emergency Heat (or “Heat Only”) and call Comfort Ice Box LLC if:

•The outdoor unit is completely covered in ice and does not defrost after an hour or two.
•The fan blade is not spinning or the unit is making loud noises.
•The breaker keeps tripping or indoor heat stops working.

Like always stay safe and warm! We hope your system runs smoothly through the upcoming freezing weather. If you notice anything unusual, we’re just a call away.
