Osha’s Home

Osha’s Home Hi!

Welcome to Osha’s Home where you’ll find inspiration on home organizing, real talk on mental health, single-motherhood, women’s health and perinatal support, and my journey with breast cancer and survivorship

I’m putting my feelers out for a location for my first Rooted & Ready postpartum prep class.

DM me if you know of a space that would work for a small group class.

Thank you!

What if this is all there is?

As I really sat with that question, I realized this is a fear that is really holding me back.

But what if I took that fear and flipped it around to really becoming present in this moment.

I know this isn’t a new concept.

I don’t know about you, but for me I can hear something a thousand times and I can understand it intellectually but it takes one moment like this for it to sink into my body for me to actually know it to be true.

A Blue Moon only comes every 2–3 years.

This one rises in Sagittarius.

Fire, freedom, and the bigger picture. 🌕

Where in your life are you ready to aim higher?

Bounce back culture doesn’t care about your recovery. It doesn’t care about your pelvic floor, your mental health, your hormone crash, or the identity shift that comes with becoming a mother. It cares about optics.

We have to stop selling the narrative that you need to return to your old self. The invitation is to arrive somewhere new.

If you’re looking for real postpartum support (not pressure) I’m here for that.

I’ve been a labor & delivery nurse for eight years. I’ve also trained and assisted as a doula.

And in all of that time — hundreds of births, thousands of early postpartum hours — the thing I keep seeing is the same gap.

Mothers leaving the hospital with a pamphlet and a 6-week follow-up appointment.

So much of the real work, the physical healing, the emotional unraveling, the “who am I now,” is happening alone at home.

I created Osha’s Home because I couldn’t unsee it.

And I created Rooted & Ready because I wanted to sit across from you, before you’re in the thick of it, and actually prepare you.

Not just clinically. As a whole person.

Registration opens soon. Link in bio for the waitlist. 🌿

Do you have one minute to bring your attention to your pelvic floor?

In this exercise we are not trying to fix anything. We are just bringing gentle awareness and breath to a part of our body that is often tense.

Try it and let me know how it goes!

Hills I would die on as a labor & delivery nurse.

Nearly a decade at the bedside. These aren’t hot takes — they’re things I’ve stood behind in real rooms, with real families, in real moments that mattered.

Your birth choices deserve to be honored. Your pain deserves to be believed. And if you’re BIPOC, you deserve a nurse who already knows the data and shows up differently because of it.

Evidence. Advocacy. Respect. Every time.

Do you need a cup of tea? Can I fold some laundry? How is feeding going? How do you relate to yourself now that you’re a mom? Tell me about your birth. I’m here for you.

A postpartum doula offers what our society has quietly stopped providing — the mothers, sisters, and aunties who used to show up without being asked. The need hasn’t gone anywhere. The support has.

That’s where I come in. To scoop you up, care for you, cheer you on, and be a warm, listening ear.

My inner child has been asking for boundaries, support and guidance.

So I stepped up, took the lead as the inner loving parent and listened.

We’re getting a routine that includes nourishment, creativity, self love/compassion and play (as well as some chores, errands and business).
