🌳 WHAT’S GOING ON INSIDE YOUR ASPEN?

This aspen had already stopped producing leaves and showed no new sprouts. When we cut into it, we found the real problem —

significant heart rot and decay inside the trunk.
What looks like a solid tree from the outside can sometimes be much weaker on the inside.

In this case, the decay had eaten away at the heartwood, leaving a large hollow area.

🌲 Dead or declining aspens shouldn't be ignored. If your tree has stopped producing leaves, has dead branches, mushrooms/fungal growth, or other signs of decline, it's worth having it looked at.

Chopping down a tree down for insurance purposes as stated by the custumer.

That's not supposed to be there.

The tree did not fall as expected due to an embedded iron bar that had been overgrown within the trunk. 🪵 🎄
