We had a lovely soaking rain last night.

So we checked in on this project this morning to evaluate its performance.

It's working!

This rain garden effectively captures stormwater runoff from an entire neighborhood, redirecting it into the ground for new and existing trees.

Article on Seeds of Wisdom's current work developing and designing the Las Vegas (NM) Urban Forestry Management plan appears in Northern New Mexico's Green Fire Times Newspaper.

The plan is currently under review by the Las Vegas City Council.

We hope in the coming weeks it will come before a vote for acceptance and adoption by the City and citizens of Las Vegas.

Community Announcement.

At this evening's City of Las Vegas Regular City Council Meeting, Seeds of Wisdom, LLC will be presenting an overview of the completed Las Vegas Urban Forestry Management Plan, commissioned by the State of New Mexico Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department, Forestry Division.

This is the culmination of over a year of exhaustive research, community surveys, working with community stakeholders and design.
