The newest flower in our 2027 catalog is the lovely Lanna Lace Marigold. Soft pastel cream pompoms repel rain to stay fresh much longer on sturdy and bushy foot-tall plants.

In honor of National Cat Day, we want to introduce some of the feline members of the extended Swallowtail Garden Seeds family: Aidan, Fanti, Milo, Romeo (in kitty heaven now after a long gardening life) Flora, and Ravi. They all love gardening, especially when it involves CATNIP!

A 2027 Fleuroselect Gold Medal-winning Coral Bells is now available!
We are tickled to announce that the award-winning new Heucherette Pink coral bells has now joined our perennials section in our 2027 catalog. Sturdy and compact plants bloom the first year with beautifully showy light pink flowers that are the right shape for hummingbird beaks to easily sip nectar. The semi-evergreen foliage is gorgeous in its own right: silvery purple with dark veins above, and rosy purple underneath. A champion for shady spots!

A beautiful double-flowered yellow rudbeckia from the Cherokee Sunset Mix.

The variety of colors and flower forms found in Rudbeckias makes me happy.

We sell 11 different varieties. From bright yellows to cherry reds and single-flowered to fully double. It might be hard to choose one favorite!

I've been in love with the beauty and variety of seeds since my first day working with seeds.

We sell seeds that weigh from around two hundred-thousandths of a gram each to about 1 gram each.

The largest seed in the world can weigh almost 100 pounds! We don't sell this type of seed.

Do you recognize any of the seeds in these photos? 3 out of 4 may be easy to identify.

We’re shining a spotlight on Spotted Beebalm (Monarda punctata) today. Even though this hardy perennial herb is native to the Eastern U.S., it looks very much at home in our Pacific Northwest test garden.

Some October blooms that caught our eye today in one of our Northern California test gardens.
