STRAIGHT FORWARD JOB LISTING, WE ARE DONE WASTING TIME: Daily Pay from $150-$250, based on experience!
Our family-owned paving company is looking for AMBITIOUS GO GETTERS!! We want reliable, hard working, responsible, self-motivated, experienced asphalt paving crew members and equipment operators that want to excel in our company for our 2021 season, which runs from mid-April through mid-November.
**READ FIRST: IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY THEN THIS IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU-
• Victim mentality / Ungrateful / Crybaby / Negative mindset / Complainer / Always Blaming / Poor attitude / Lack a sense of humor / Talk badly about everyone. Our crew is very laid back & being your therapist is not in their job description. No one wants to hear it.
• Don’t know how to open your mouth & communicate when there is an issue or concern & expect your boss to read your mind then talk badly about them when they fail to do so. It’s cowardly.
• No Call/No Show then show up the next day as if you still have a job. LOL!
• Always have a terrible excuse or crazy story / Never take accountability / Have the worst luck / Something bad is always happening to you & interfering with your job / Liars. We don’t buy it.
• Showing up under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Never on time / Oversleep / Didn’t get a call / Never got the text / Alarm clock didn’t work for some reason.
• Have court often / Have to babysit / Bring your personal drama to work with you.
• Know it all / Are an expert at your job / Lack initiative / Selfish / Don’t look out for your Employer or other crew members.
• Constantly on your phone / Standing around / Watch Netflix on the job & think its acceptable.
• Always need to borrow $20 come Monday morning.
• Think you are doing us a favor & want a trophy for coming to work like an adult & doing your job.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lift, spread, and move materials by hand or hand tools such as brooms, picks, shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows. (Shoveling, raking, tamping, job-site clean up, etc)
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time & Lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Understand paving procedures while following instructions to meet standards of project.
• Majority of work is subject to weather conditions. Must be able to work in varied weather conditions including summer heat.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Asphalt Paving experience is preferred, but atleast 1 year of Construction experience is required.
• Ability to work without direct supervision, at all times. Constant physical effort is required!
• Have the ability to apply common sense & understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral or dialogue form from the Owner and other crew members.
• Must be able to work 8-10 hour shifts.
• Must show up everyday and report to the job site at the designated time. Must have valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation to & from work.
• Must be a Team Player! All crew members must be prompt, reliable and able to communicate with each other effectively!!
