Working on my plate wall, a few more treasures from Nashville. Heading back in June to the Vintage Fling at City Farmhouse to pick up a few more items that I have purchased from my new friend Mary Katherine Douglas, Gallery by Mary for this project. She has been so helpful to me in picking out my plates. The beautiful Oval plate at the top is a treasure I purchased from her at the Great Junk Hunt. She has the best collection & I can’t wait to pick the others up & complete this wall. More pics to come!

It hated to paint over this family heirloom mahogany side table, but I no longer have any mahogany pieces in my house & really wanted to keep this piece, so I stained the top with Retique It liquid stain in Barnwood, painted the base with RTJ’s Fog & distressed. Also added another family heirloom, a doily from a huge box of embroidered treasures my friend Sheryl gave to me. It was her mother’s treasures collected over the years, who recently went to be with the Lord. I am thankful that she thought of me, It’s beautiful & blends better in my space now.
