We still have a few packs of ladybugs! 🐞 🌱

Why are ladybugs used as pest control? Ladybugs eat a few different species of insects, but are especially good at controlling aphid populations. They have a voracious appetite from the moment they hatch, eating scale bugs, mites, aphids, some small caterpillars, beetles, and even the eggs and larvae of other insects.

South Main st. and the two areas noted of the west city parking lot will be closed to traffic starting Monday 8/28 until Friday 9/1. As work is completed areas will be opened. Stay tuned for a parking pattern change in downtown as well. The city commission will be discussing changing to parallel parking from the current angled parking at the next commission meeting.
