it’s easy to get swept up in life during a month filled with transition and new routines. in honor of back-to-school season, we’re bringing the primary colors to our grid this month.

during september, we’ll be celebrating various shades of stately, midnight, and morning blue to keep us focused. standing out with soft sunset reds and wheats indicating that it’s okay to let ourselves be surprised. and finally, keeping our footing steady in the face of change, reassuring shades of coffee. this is seattle, after all ☕️

contemporary exterior 🤝 moody pnw vibes

working with (rather than against☝🏻) their red-toned wood-grained hardie board lap siding, we built a palette that supported it without feeling flat or neutral! 😌

we landed on the juicy, ever so slightly green, night owl sw 7071, and the radiant charcoal of iron ore sw 7076 for soothingly soft combination 🏡

splitting up the siding into sections for these two colors allowed the exterior facade to remain interesting, even on the quieter sections of siding 🤓

because around here, we’re all about color palette community > spotlight competition 🙂‍↕️
