Water wells provide half of all agricultural irrigation in the US. In the last few years, we have experienced severe drought issues. That is where Robbins Water Service comes in to help. We have brought water to thousands of farms across South and Central Jersey for over 115 years. This means we can bring reliable solutions to your irrigation needs. When a farmer comes to us looking for a new or replacement well, we first conduct test wells to assess the ground geology so that we can pick the best spot for the production well. This process allows us to size the best possible screen so you can achieve the highest possible yield without any sand. We then handle all permitting with local and state government agencies. After the water well has been drilled and installed, we spend a day developing it with industry-leading techniques. While developing the well, we will also conduct a pump drawdown test to properly size the pump for the well yield. This process allows us to get you as much water as possible from your irrigation well. When you choose Robbins, we handle the entire process for you and bring you along every step of the way. We service agricultural, commercial, and residential pumps and turbines. If your irrigation or agricultural well needs service or replacement, call us today!

Robbins Water Service is a Water Well Company that provides solutions for all your well needs.

YOU CAN SAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS over a lifetime by installing an irrigation well for your grass, plants, pool, and more when you have public water. Drilling irrigation wells is a very messy process that often leaves yards in disarray, requiring extensive cleanup. This picture shows our site while drilling a deep (350+ ft) irrigation well. To ensure your yard stays as clean as this one, we take additional steps to keep things as clean as possible during drilling. The first option we offer is yard mats, which keeps our heavy equipment from leaving deep ruts and from sinking into the yard. The second option we offer is mud removal; we’ll manage all drilling mud at a single location so we can clean it up at the end of the process. When sites have enough access, we will often put all the drilling mud directly into a dumpster. This is all possible thanks to the machine shown in the image on the left. Its job is to transport all drilling mud, clay, and anything else that comes up to one location. It dispenses all materials out the back with as little liquid as possible. This means a LOT less mud will be left behind. The combination of all these additional steps that we take ensures your yard stays as clean as possible during an extremely messy process. Here is a look at our geothermal drilling setup on a tight shore-house lot. We use many different techniques to ensure these wells last, since they are often under landscaping, driveways, and sometimes even houses. That is why they come with a 50-year warranty. Meaning they are built and installed to last! Another big problem we face on lots like this is cleanliness. That is why we use special machinery to ensure all cuttings (soil coming from the ground) are as dry as possible with the assistance of a mud puppy. Combining the assistance of a Vac truck to collect all drilling fluid, ensuring it does not run all over the job site, into the neighbors' yards, or onto the road. Lastly, our drilling system allows for extremely fast, efficient drilling. During this job, we drilled 2 410 ft wells per day, meaning the drilling process took only 3 days for 5 410 ft wells, including equipment setup and teardown. This system will heat and cool the house for decades to come at an extremely low cost. With all the machinery and techniques we use during drilling, we ensure your geothermal system is installed efficiently, cleanly, and professionally.

The problem this farmer and many farmers face is finding enough water in a low-producing area.

A few ways we can maximize the water we get from areas like this is by using stainless steel screens, which can produce DOUBLE or even TRIPLE the amount of water as normal plastic screens due to their design and slot shape.
We also use centralizers to ensure the screen is centered in the hole, allowing for a perfect filter pack. The last thing we do to maximize water production is through various well-development techniques.

This 10-inch well will be used to irrigate the crops in the field behind the rig, allowing continued farming even when the rain isn't falling.
