I go on a service call and find a bad compressor.
Good news your air conditioner is under 5 years old and is still under warranty
Bad news, this particular brand, which is a big name company, says the soonest they can get a compressor is October
On the rare occasion that I had to change out one of my compressors,
(twice in the last thirty years)
the longest I had to wait for it to come in was two days.
Two months for a part that’s under warranty, I’ll let you draw your own conclusions 🫢

With this heat, it is best to make sure your air conditioner is clean.
Those coils on your outside unit may be plugged with cottonwood, this makes your unit run longer and hotter to keep your house cool. It also shortens the life of your unit.

With this heat wave moving in, now would be a good time to change your furnace filters.
Whatever you do, don’t just pull a dirty one out without putting in a new one.
If you do this, you still have a filter, but now it’s called an A-coil.
I charge a minimum of $250 to clean your A-coil.
You can buy a two pack of filters for less than $25 (The better filters)
You do the math

BUYER BEWARE !!
Mr. & Mrs. Customer buys the home warranty for peace of mind.
When their hot water tank goes out, the home warranty company says,
“We Will Not Pay You Anything!”
Customer:
Why? We have given you a payment every month for the past six years!!
Hm Warranty Company:
You didn’t have your hot water tank serviced every year.
Customer:
You didn’t tell us we had to do that!
Hm Warranty Company:
Yes we did! It’s on page #563 paragraph #95 of your contract! (Emphasis added)

Sitting in a class about the new DOE (Department of Energy) changes going into effect Jan. 1 2023. Unfortunately HUGE changes are coming !!
I realize somewhere along this road called life, I transitioned into that category called “Seniors” so time has some contribution,
Bottom Line: What used to cost you $2,500 in 1990, and costs $7,500 currently, will cost you over $10,000 come January 1st.
