So today’s post isn’t about what beautiful work we are doing today unfortunately. Today is a PSA about how important it is to hire qualified contractors to work on your home. Be selective, scrutinize, ask questions, and see if they have references. If they are not licensed as a company, do not carry insurance, and don’t have references then they are in business to do one thing and that is take your money while providing sub par workmanship. Often times these people use the wrong, or cheapest materials to complete your project. I do not offer this advice so that you hire our company specifically but rather that you hire someone who is qualified to work on your home. Half of our scope of work is repairing/replacing what someone else had done incorrectly. Trust your instincts, if you wouldn’t trust the people you are hiring to be in your home while you are away, around your children or pets then please do not hire them. Once you’ve found a quality service provider you’ll have found one for life. Good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good.
