New project completed for our longtime client, Blakeโs Orchard & Cider Mill.
8,500 sq ft coated under unique conditions. This floor was stamped concrete, so this wasnโt a standard grind-and-coat job.
To preserve the stamped detail, we used smaller sanders with 80-grit abrasives to achieve proper mechanical adhesion without flattening the texture. From there, the surface was thoroughly vacuumed, scrubbed, acetone-mopped, and prepped for coating.
The system included a primer coat, a gloss base coat with aluminum oxide for traction, and a satin topcoat to reduce shine while maintaining a clean, professional look.
In restaurant environments with heavy foot trafficโespecially during snow and rainโflooring has to balance safety, durability, and appearance. This system was built to do exactly that.
