Goal: Go through, re-organize and set piles for client of things that need to be sorted through.
We threw away 3 bags of just garbage before I left.
Im so excited to share this project with yall! I haven’t had many clients lately who are comfortable with me taking pictures (which I respect) but the other day I had a client that asked me to!
The after math doesn’t look like much, but those are piles of stuff that need to be gone through

T​he first thing I do with my clients is I sit down with them and fill out a contract that discusses and outlines project details. My contract discusses in depth, Goals, Promise to pay/Promise to reach goals to the best of my ability, and more. One of the sections that requires an extra signature is the part that asks about pictures and videos for before and after shots of the work I had done. No matter what the reason is I respect the fact that someone may not want their life out there on social media where anyone can see.
T​here are even some cases where I tell clients to go ahead and circle deny before they get to that part, because the project isn't something that should be risked. For example: I had a client the other day I had spent three hours sorting through boxes and piles of paperwork and made piles based off document, as soon the major piles were I I made more piles.
W​hat does this look like? First round the major piles consisted of Bank statements, Bills, Work documents, Insurance, and State Documents. Then I organized those separate piles, the bank pile was separated by bank, Insurance was divided into medical, vision and dental, etc. The third step was to organize those extra piles in order by month/year. Once we had our piles divided, the next and final step was to put the paperwork into a binder/ filing cabinet. I don't look in depth at what the paper work is talking about, but I look at the header, and I chat with my clients as I work, asking them questions about what I'm looking at and what to look for, so I know what category something will go in.
I​t is important to me that my clients know that their privacy is one of my top priorities. Right before I post pictures that permission was granted for, I make sure I edit out anything that will give away who the client is. I blur photos and Unless there's written consent I will make sure the clients aren't in any photos or videos. There as been a couple situations where I'm doing a timelaps and my client(s) are helping me organize, I make sure they know a video is recording and if they say they don't care I make sure a note is written and signed on the contract.

Hello all!
On top of organizing we have added Post Hoarder Clear Out as a new service Provided.

Post-hoarder clears out-
I want to start this off with being very clear I will not discard anything without permission from the owner of those belongings.
Normally what this looks like is that I work with the family members after the hoarder has moved to another location or they have passed away and it is now someone else’s responsibility to clear out the space.
In this situation, my client has a legal right to dispose of the property. This can be because they are the parent, the adult child, or widow, or an heir of the original or last owner of the belongings. In many situations the property is either inherited or considered abandoned and I am hired to clear out any and all belongings.
I use my skills in this project and my safety training to provide a confidential and ethical service. Either you can hire movers and haulers or you can rent a truck or trailer if need be and I can help you move and dispose properly of any belongings that need to be moved out. After sorting the belongings into piles, with my knowledge, I can help you decide what can be donated and where what should be disposed of in a dump/recycling center.
For these services, I charge $40-$45 per hour based on your location. (The further I drive the more I have to charge to accomidate for Gas prices).

You can’t make progress till you realize what Clutter means too you in your own words. As I work with you I ask questions, like, how do you learn? Who does the majority of the cooking?, are you left handed or right handed? what does your day to day look like? I take all your answers and the goal you stated when filling out the contract, and I make sure that by the end of the poroject all your needs are met.
