this may be common knowledge for some, but l've learned over the past three years that giving my plants full soaks from the bottom up when I water them has completely prevented root rot issues due to inconsistent watering schedule 💡⬆️

CANNOT recommend it more for every plant you own (including cacti and succulents) - come back for a how-to in Part 2! 🫶

HELP! ⛔️I literally cannot stop this plant from growing and can no longer fit it on any sunny surface in my house!!!! Mine is about 4 feet across now!☀️📈Fun fact, the more sun it gets, the curlier the strands will be➰➰ if you’re looking for a rewarding, eye-catching plant that not only likes boggy, overwatered soil but CRAVES it … the juncus spiralis “corkscrew rush” plant is great! And technically a plant that naturally grows in swampy marshes.

these gorgeous flowers open for a single, glorious ~12 hour period overnight. I lucked out with three at once this past summer on mine. Make sure to catch them while you can 😌
