⚠️ Burned & Failed Phase Found — Panel Replacement Required ⚠️
During inspection, we found a burned and failed phase inside the electrical panel. This is a serious condition that cannot be safely repaired with a breaker swap or minor fix.
🔥 What this means:
One phase of the electrical system overheated and failed due to long-term stress, poor connections, and internal damage. Once a phase burns inside a panel, the metal bus and connection points are compromised.
🚫 Why repair was NOT an option:
• The panel bus was heat-damaged
• Breakers were no longer making safe contact
• Risk of arcing, fire, and power loss
• Unreliable power to parts of the home
• Immediate safety concern
🛠 What was done:
• Full electrical panel replacement
• Properly balanced phases
• New breakers correctly sized to conductors
• Clean grounding and neutral termination
• System restored to safe, reliable operation
✅ The result:
• Safe power distribution
• Reduced fire risk
• Reliable electrical performance
• Panel ready for future upgrades
📌 Important takeaway:
If a panel has a burned phase, replacement is the only safe solution. Anything else is a temporary patch and a liability.
