Harvested half of my Garlic today!
I’m new at this and I think I harvested a little early. No worries though I will wait two more weeks for the other half and I think the bulbs are forming nicely.
These will cure for a while until the leaves turn papery around the bulbs.
If you have tips let me know😅

Dont forget to harden off your plants before putting them in full sun ☀️!
This enables them to get used to the conditions that they will be growing in. Plants produce their own SPF but if they’ve been grown inside they will need to be transitioned slowly.
I usually put them in the part-sun for an hour or so and then move them to the shade on the first day. Starting them with morning sun is the most gentle way to go!
Then I increase a little bit more every day for about a week.
These beauties are just about ready!

btw, fall is Pansie season around here. All the summer annuals come out and the winter annuals like Pansies, Snapdragons and ornamental cabbage goes in. Then at the end of spring you take your winter annuals out and start all over.

I’m in love with this water feature I made a few years ago. Too bad that the galvanized tub kept killing the fish! I tried many times to get it to work but all the fish died within a day or two. I have been making water gardens for goldfish for years with great success. This is a very old tub that I got from a friend and now it’s a raised bed garden.🌿🌱🪴
Has anyone had any luck with fish in a galvanized steel container?
