When caterpillars start munching on bean plants, the beans can release a chemical signal that tells nearby wasps there's a nice plump treat waiting for them. The wasps follow the scent straight to the caterpillars start ripping that thing apart.

Tomato season has officially arrived… and so have the stained hands 🍅🌱

If you’ve spent the day trellising tomatoes, you already know that sticky green tomato residue somehow turns your hands from “green thumb” to looking like you changed oil in an old tractor 😂 By the end of the day, those bright green stains turn almost black and seem determined to stay forever.

Farmer tip: Dawn Powerwash works surprisingly well, and Gojo hand cleaner is about the only thing tough enough to convince tomato stains to leave early. A nail brush helps too if you really get after it today.

Truth is though… those stained hands are a badge of honor this time of year. Means the tomatoes are growing, the work is getting done, and summer is on the way. 🌞
