Here are 5 things to consider before you build:
1. Purpose First. Are you looking for privacy? Keeping pets or kids safe? Boosting curb appeal? Knowing your goal helps us recommend the right style and material.
2. Know Your Property Lines. It sounds obvious, but it’s worth double-checking! We always recommend getting a property survey (if you haven’t already) to avoid future neighbor disputes.
3. Choose the Right Material. Here in South Dakota, the weather’s no joke. We usually recommend: Cedar for natural beauty + durability, Vinyl for low maintenance + clean look, Chain link for budget-friendly security.
4. Think Long-Term. The cheapest option today might cost more in repairs later. We’ll help you weigh short-term cost vs. long-term value.
