When I first started designing wedding flowers, I worried about creating for family, friends, and people I know personally. This season I’ve realized there’s something special about creating flowers for someone whose story I know.

I told my bride this past weekend that the best bouquets feel like a reflection of the person carrying them. 🩷

Named this one “Juicy Lucy.”

Happy May and Happy Mother’s Day week!

My husband asked what I’d like to do for Mother’s Day, and without hesitation I replied, “Get more plants in the ground.”
I’m sure many moms can relate when I say it feels like each year moves quicker than the last. There’s always a running list in our minds… and then a backup list too.
Of course I’d love to finish field prep and planting, but what I really meant was I want to be outside with my boys.
Sunshine and the people we love most are the sweetest gifts of all.

I hope all the moms reading this can slow down a little this week and soak in the simple things with their loved ones.

It was such a joy creating prom flowers this past week, thank you so much for all of your support!
The flowers were almost as beautiful as the couples. 💛

And a little real life/behind-the-scenes update: I’m hopeful that in the near future I won’t be designing florals out of our home anymore. Our granary will be getting a facelift this summer to better support the flow of processing and seasonal design.

Hi friends, Happy Spring!
We’ve been a bit quiet over here, but our hands have been hard at work.

We are so excited to be preparing for the launch of our flower CSA in the coming weeks.

We’ll be sharing more soon about what a CSA is, how it works, and the different subscription options we’ll be offering for the 2026 season!

We’ve also had a few people reach out about prom flowers, and the answer is yes, we will be offering prom florals this year! Stay tuned for details on offerings and pricing, which will be shared later this weekend.

It’s a full and exciting season behind the scenes, thousands of plugs ready to go into the ground, continued seed starting for succession blooms through summer and into fall, and a long-awaited rebrand and new website in the works.

We are so looking forward to sharing more with you in the weeks ahead!
