Rustic Wick was built from a dream, a lot of late nights, and the hope that our little handmade candle and soap boutique could become something special for the community here in Olde Towne Slidell.

Every candle you smell, every soap bar you pick up, every product on our shelves was handmade with love, care, and more hard work than most people ever see behind the scenes. We poured everything we had into opening our doors… but the truth is, we genuinely need the community’s support to keep growing and keep our little shop going.

We’ve been thinking about adding a beautiful selection of Herbal Teas and Floral Tisanes to Rustic Wick and we want to know… would YOU be interested? 🫖🌿🌸

A lot of people use the words “tea” and “tisane” interchangeably, but they’re actually a little different:

☕ Tea:
Traditional tea comes from the tea plant called *Camellia sinensis*. This includes Black Tea, Green Tea, White Tea, and Oolong Tea.

🌸 Tisane:
A tisane is an herbal or floral infusion made WITHOUT actual tea leaves. Think lavender, chamomile, hibiscus, peppermint, rose petals, lemon balm, and other herbs, fruits, and flowers. Most tisanes are naturally caffeine-free!

We’re considering carrying cozy blends that are:

✨ Relaxing
✨ Aromatic
✨ Perfect for self-care nights, candle burning, and bath time vibes

We are Rustic Wick — a brand new small business in the heart of Olde Towne Slidell built from passion, late nights, creativity, and a dream of creating something meaningful for our community.

Every candle we pour, every soap we make, every whipped body butter, wax melt, bath product, and gift item is handcrafted with love right here in our shop. We aren’t a big corporation or franchise — we’re local people pouring our hearts into every product and every customer experience.
