Top Notch Remodeling is a locally owned, hands-on remodeling company specializing in basements, bathrooms, kitchens, and custom finish work. We are growing and looking to add a motivated Entry-Level Carpenter / Apprentice to our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the remodeling trade from experienced owner-builders and grow into a skilled craftsman.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Job site prep and clean-up
• Demolition work
• Material handling and deliveries
• Assisting with framing, trim, flooring, cabinetry installation
• Job site organization
• Supporting lead carpenters and owners on active projects

This role involves consistent physical labor and hands-on work.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
• Ability to safely lift heavy materials with assistance when required
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Comfortable working in unfinished spaces (dust, insulation, etc.)

Top Notch Remodeling is a locally owned home remodeling company based in South Lyon, Michigan, specializing in high-quality bathroom renovations, as well as kitchens and basements.

We are seeking an experienced Tile Setter / Bathroom Remodel Specialist with 5+ years of professional experience, particularly in custom bathroom tile work. This position is ideal for a skilled craftsman who values precision, proper prep, waterproofing, and high-end finishes.

Responsibilities
• Install tile in showers, tub surrounds, floors, and bathroom walls
• Perform proper surface preparation, layout, and waterproofing
• Set ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and natural stone tile
• Build and tile niches, benches, curbs, and accent features
• Grout, seal, and finish tile work to a high standard
• Coordinate with the remodeling team during full bathroom renovations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
• Communicate clearly with team members and homeowners
