🌳 Four Maples Removed
Two were hazardous from past hard‑pruning, and two were on the way to causing ongoing issues with the proximity to the house. When trees become unsafe or troublesome, removal is the right call!

🌲 To the common eye, this cedar looked perfectly fine…
But it was actually root heaving — the base was lifting, the soil had visible cracks, and the tree was sitting way too close to the home’s foundation to ignore.

Root heaving warning signs:
• Soil lifting or cracking
• Newly exposed roots
• A sudden lean
• Gaps forming at the base
• Raised ground on one side
• Movement at the trunk during wind

With the roots already shifting and the house right beside it, removal was the safest call.

🌳 Hazardous Red Oak Removal — Here’s Why It Had to Come Down
This Red Oak became dangerous long before we arrived. It was a two‑headed co‑dominant tree, and years ago another company cut an entire lead off in a spot where the tree cannot compartmentalize decay.
Trees rely on specific microorganisms to seal wounds and form callus tissue — but when a cut is made in the wrong place, the tree is left with an open wound it can’t close.
Over time, decay traveled straight into the heartwood and down into the root flare, leaving the tree structurally compromised and unsafe.
