Caught a great performance at Monona Terrace last night by Boston based Mike Block https://www.facebook.com/BlockCello, a cello player and vocalist who is on a short Midwest tour of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings (including Still Bend (Two Rivers, WI), Monona Terrace (Madison, WI), the Bradley House (Kankakee, IL), the Heurtley House (Oak Park, IL) and the Laurent House (Rockford, IL)). Mike plays a 3-d printed Cello and stands while performing using a strap that he developed. Highly recommended if you get a chance to catch his performance. He'll also be at Taliesin (Hillside Theatre) on 6/20.

His final number was part of a suite inspired by his time spent at Taliesin, "Hope on the Hill" https://www.mikeblocktrio.com/hopeonthehill Stunning!
