Part 2 of Bryan’s walkthrough at this Overland Park, Kansas home shows another side of what it means to take care of a client’s property.

The dump trailer is on site, helping us keep construction debris and trash moving out instead of letting it pile up around our client’s home.

The epoxy floor finish is complete, giving the space a clean, durable finished surface.

Next comes the cabinetry.

And we’ll be taking care of the painting as everything continues coming together.

WHEN A CLIENT CALLS YOU BACK YEARS LATER, YOU KNOW THE RELATIONSHIP WAS BUILT RIGHT.

This first part of Bryan’s walkthrough in Overland Park, Kansas tells a story that goes much deeper than replacing a fence.

As Bryan walks around the property, you can see the fencing along the back, sides, and front areas that now needs to be replaced.

But this is not our first time at this home.

ALL TYING BACK TOGETHER… BUT WE’RE FIXING ONE PROBLEM BEFORE WE CALL THIS DONE. 🔨🏡

Another big update from our Overland Park, Kansas garage addition, and this is the stage where you can finally see the home coming back together.

The windows are in. The addition is tied back into the existing home. The exterior is taking shape. But as Bryan explains, there’s still an important part of this transformation ahead.

The existing patio and wall area are coming out.

Why?

Because there is currently a gap between the patio and back door where water can collect. Instead of simply working around an existing problem Bryan and the All Under One Roof team are addressing it as part of the project.

The old patio will be removed and replaced so everything can properly come together without that troublesome area continuing to hold water.

That is what we mean when we talk about Attention To Your Every Detail.

A garage addition is not just about adding square footage and making the outside look finished.

It is understanding how the new construction connects with the existing home, noticing the areas that could create problems later, and thinking about what will make the entire property work better when we leave.

🏡 WHEN A CLIENT COMES BACK FOR PROJECT #3… THAT SAYS MORE THAN WE EVER COULD.

Some reviews make you smile.

Some remind you exactly why you started doing this work in the first place.

And then there are reviews like Trisha’s.

THIS PROJECT IS GETTING LOVE… BUT THERE’S ONE DETAIL WE REALLY HAVE TO CELEBRATE.

The finished Lenexa master suite has already been getting compliments, and seeing people like Jill and her friends love the transformation makes us incredibly happy.

But there is one part of this project we really wanted to stop and appreciate.

FROM TEARING IT OPEN TO BUILDING IT BACK STRONGER. 🔨🏡

Remember when we showed you the beginning of this project?

Well… look at our Overland Park, Kansas garage addition now. 👀

You can hear it in Bryan’s voice in this video. He feels awesome, grateful, and incredibly blessed that homeowners continue trusting Andrea, Bryan, and the All Under One Roof team to come into their homes and build projects like this for their families.

And this update shows exactly why these projects involve so much more than what you eventually see from the outside.

The shake shingles are going back on. The framing and headers are in. The insulation is installed. The laundry room is taking shape. Plumbing and new drain lines are being rebuilt and installed. Our electricians are diligently working through the power and service connections. The dryer duct is in. And our team is working through the homeowners’ requests as everything comes back together.

But there is one detail Bryan points out that you may never notice once this project is finished:

The hurricane ties.

They are installed throughout the roof framing to help secure the structure and provide additional resistance during the severe winds and tornado conditions we can experience here in Kansas. 🌪️

That is the kind of work we believe matters.

Some of the most important craftsmanship in a remodeling project eventually gets covered by insulation, drywall, roofing, and beautiful finishes.

But just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be done right.
