The best Grand "Fathers Day" gift ever! Training up the next generation of craftsmen (Parker & Declan Mabus) in their new remodeled home. Hope to build even more on the job memories real soon. Love all my grand kids.

Looks like Jake Mabus is ready to find your next home for you or someone you all know. I must say, he does know how to negotiate for you.

#1 rule when shopping for a house... Never call the number on the yard sign. Why?

Because if the number is the listing agent, he is now the selling agent too. Thus you have no one to negotiate for you. In other words the double agent sits on one side of the bargaining table and presents the offer to the seller, then jumps on the other side (buyers side) and will obviously be trying to keep the selling price as high as possible for the seller because it is a commission game. (Not always the case but more likely than not)

So the #1 action to take when looking to buy... Call your agent 1st! Don't have an agent? Be sure to call Jake.

Hey Van, Thanks for making our page hit 100 likes! And thanks to everyone for getting it to 99!. So, I have to admit the page has been a little neglected. Got so busy last fall and through this winter I didn't get to change the header pic but what the heck... It's almost that time of year again.

So right now we are scheduling larger projects for around middle of July 2013 and beyond. Of course we can always work in a few smaller jobs between now & then.

For next winter, I'm thinking Florida would really be a nice place to work. Feel free to tell your friends & family about us. We can do long distance bids!

Back in the late 70's, I (Cal) realized becoming a starving artist was not going to cut it, so I turned to becoming a starving carpenter. LOL. But it's always a blessing when I can design & build for you all!

Well friends, looks like Kari is calling for an ice cream run. So I just wanted to tell everyone thanks for helping us get our construction business page up to 47 likes in just a few short hours. That got us our custom URL, and now we can publish that link on other advertising media. And now I have to start finding all my job pics to start posting, but that will be the fun part. Thanks for all you comments too.

I'm brain fried for the day, so checking out till Monday as to take some time tonight to prepare for Lord's Day worship tomorrow. Our much needed day of rest in Christ.
