The goals of the Springfield Organic Gardening Club of Springfield, MO, are as follows:
-To provide an educational and social experience for long-time organic gardeners, those new to backyard organic gardening, and commercial organic gardeners in the Springfield area by exchanging information and having relevant speakers at monthly meetings and visits to member gardens.
-To promote the
purchase of organic vegetables, fruits, meats, and other products from commercial growers and producers, especially those in the Springfield and Southwest Missouri geographical area.
-To develop an awareness of organic gardening methods and goals among the general public
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our e-mail list is used to announce meetings, to provide a synopsis of past meetings, and to pass along other information about the club as appropriate. The Springfield Organic Gardening Club of Springfield, MO, will begin holding meetings open to the general public. To inquire about meeting times, please email [email protected] as they change every few months. Meetings will be held in the Auditorium at the Library Center on South Campbell. The Auditorium is down the hall to the left after entering the Library Center.
