Amy Henry Interior Decorating, LLC

Amy Henry Interior Decorating, LLC Interior decorating company servicing the Saint Louis area. I've always had a passion for creating beautiful spaces.

After years of styling my own home, and with encouragement from friends and family, I took the leap to turn my passion into a business. My mission was clear: to create beautiful, functional spaces for my clients. Over the past decade, working closely with clients has taught me that hiring a decorator is a deeply personal decision. My clients place their trust in me, and that trust is something I h

old in the highest regard. I am truly grateful and work hard to honor that faith. I'm so thankful for all the amazing clients and friends I've made along the way.

Most rooms don’t have a decor problem… they have a function problem.

This loft needed to work as both an office AND a TV space—but without feeling like a workspace.

By choosing furniture that is beautiful and functional we were able to create a cohesive comfortable space.

• Filing cabinets doubled as a TV console (storage + function)
• A sleeper sofa added comfort and flexibility
• Everything was chosen to support how the space is actually used

This is what I help clients figure out every day—how to make a space work first, and look good second.

If your room feels off, it’s usually not what you’re missing… it’s how it’s functioning.

Same tray, new season.
A few simple swaps (hello tulips + marble egg) and it feels completely refreshed.

I love how this simple arrangement added a fresh spring feel to the porch.

A wicker pedestal basket with faux peonies and eucalyptus is an easy way to bring a seasonal touch to an outdoor space.

A simple spring touch for this bedroom ✨

Small seasonal swaps — like tulips in a simple vase — can shift the feeling of a room without changing your base decor. And these tulips look so real you’d never guess they weren't 😉

This living room didn’t just need new furniture.

It needed a new layout.

Once we defined the conversation area and anchored the space properly, every decision became clearer.

Layout is usually the problem.
Furniture is often just the symptom.

That’s what we focus on in design consults — making smart spatial decisions before you invest in new pieces.

If your living room feels “off,” it might not be the decor.

My consult calendar is open.

You don’t need all new decor for every season.

I kept my everyday base (tray, vase, florals) and swapped in just a few spring pieces. Same foundation — different feel.

When your core pieces work year-round, seasonal updates become easy (and a lot less cluttered).

Small shifts > full overhauls.

This room started as a blank slate and a mood board.

The goal was to to create a calm and relaxing space that actually works in real life.

Layered neutrals
Warmer lighting
Softer contrast
And pieces that can stay year-round, not just styled for a photo

Good design isn’t adding more things. It’s choosing fewer pieces that work together.

If you’re stuck between ideas and ex*****on, that’s exactly where I come in.

Here’s the real life version of the 80/20 decorating idea I shared.

Nothing big changed — just a few accents — but the space feels completely different for spring.

I added links to the pieces I used if you want a simple seasonal refresh without redoing the whole room 😍

I used to think seasonal decorating meant pulling out bins and redoing everything.

Now I only change a few pieces — and honestly the house looks better than when I tried to do more.

Most of the space stays the same… the season just comes from a handful of accents.

Do you decorate for every season or just a few?
