We are overjoyed to announce that LPP constituent Humberto Ramirez was released this morning after serving 2 years of a maximum 7-year sentence for cannabis!

While his partner Brooke has fought tirelessly for his freedom, these last few years have been extremely difficult for Humberto and his family. The trauma of Humberto’s incarceration was further exacerbated by COVID, which has impacted Humberto’s health and prevented him from seeing loved ones.

Now free, Humberto is able to embrace Brooke and his three children once more, and finally, start rebuilding his life.

Special thanks to all the advocates who fought beside us to help make this day a reality. 💚
