Another inspection issue resolved and brought up to code! 🔨

This homeowner recently had an inspection that flagged several safety concerns, wobbly deck railings, and improper deck ledger board fastening.

We installed a new code-compliant deck railing system with new support posts, pickets, and top rails, and reinforced everything for a solid, secure feel. We also added the required ledger board fasteners to ensure the deck is properly attached and meets current code requirements.

This old porch had some major structural issues:
• End posts were sitting on the ground and only screwed to the underside of the rim joist
• Railings were loose and wobbly from improper top-mounted posts
• Stairs were pulling away and starting to fail

We tore out the unsafe sections and rebuilt it the right way with:

✅ Stronger, safer railings
✅ Brand new solid stair system built to last
