Another beautiful Dream Concepts transformation completed in Budd Lake. 🔥

This home was completely gutted and redesigned into a bright, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space built for both everyday living and entertaining.

To make the transformation possible, we removed two structural walls and installed engineered LVL beams over steel support columns — opening the entire first floor and completely changing the feel of the home.

Project highlights included:

Hot in from our amazing photographer (Todd Holtz Photography) please check out one of our latest projects with some really fantastic clients. The team and I wrapped up this kitchens and first floor renovation in Boonton recently and we have already been asked back to build a new deck and outdoor living space for them. Building long lasting relationships with our clients is everything. Some very kind words from the clients at the bottom of the photos.

This kitchen was fully gutted, a massive triple LVL beam with two steel flitch plates along with a second LVL beam were installed to create a true open concept space between the kitchen, dining room and cathedral ceiling living room. New Andersen 400 series windows were added to the kitchen to bring in lots of natural sunlight, the entire kitchen and dining room were worked over with all new electrical and plumbing for dual sinks, fire and draft stopped, insulated and sheetrocked, gorgeous 4” select white oak hardwood flooring went in throughout the whole first floor area, new white oak posts and railings with horizontal black aluminum balusters and then finished off with two tone, American made Yorktowne cabinets with a massive 10’ island, perfect for family gathering at the end of a busy day. Quartz countertops and full height matching quartz backsplash accented by new LED under cabinet lighting, wine fridge, built in wall oven and convection/microwave oven and a custom mixed color Duraseal stain finish on the new hardwood and this beautiful new kitchen/living area is all ready for this wonderful family to spend many happy memories together!!

Excited to show this one to all of our followers! The Dream Team had a lot of fun with this clients house, finishing the basement out for a new home gym, kids play area, home theater area with 4x8 thin panel stone backdrop, WAC strip back lighting and acoustical paneling and then a wet bar area for entertaining guests and a hidden Murphy door bookcase into a private office… we also redid the entire fireplace surround in the main living room with demensional stone and new mantle and hidden electrical, smart switches and also two bathroom renovations… Great project, great clients and we are looking forward to building their whole new outdoor living space, deck and swimming pool this summer!!

Always a pleasure hosting the Lenape Valley Architecture 102 students and going over the perspectives of a builder/architect relationship and how lines on paper become real life structures. This is the fourth year that Dream Concepts has partnered with the local HS to bring a CTE field based learning program together for the students who have an interest in Design\Build and engineering.

Please help us wish Sean and Amanda and their brand new baby girl many happy years in their new home. Nestled in the gorgeous rolling fields of Hope NJ, this 150+ year old existing farmhouse was the perfect place for them to start their new chapter in life. Amanda was resilient enough to last through this 6 month addition and full home renovation while several months pregnant!!

The Dream Team started with adding a 600sq ft first floor great room addition with cathedral ceilings, (3) Andersen sliding glass doors and a massive natural stone fireplace alongside really eclectic powder room. Another 400 sq ft second floor addition for a new nursery, master bathroom and laundry closet went above the existing house. In the existing portion of the house we ran into some significant structural rot from the age of the house but were able to rebuild those areas and fully renovate their kitchen with very large island thats perfect for entertaining and revamp the pantry area as well. The house also got all new board and batten siding and copper powder coated gutters (they look so good).

Really loving the farmhouse charm on this one. All our best to your growing family!!

The Dream Team pulled together a huge one in Oak Ridge NJ, here.. 800 sq ft of additional living space with new master suite, expanded living room and kitchen, new front and back porches, full exterior makeover with board and batten siding and black on black Andersen 400 series windows, full interior renovation of the entire home with huge kitchen, gorgeous bathrooms and wide plank white oak flooring. Custom moldings and built ins in almost every room and even a custom coffee bar in the master suite with full laundry on the second floor. Topping off with some really special custom built wood beams/columns and ceilings to accent the modern farmhouse esthetic… a year of planning and 9 months to build and the Dream Team wishes Matt and Kelly many many amazing years making memories in their new home with their growing family.
