Have you seen the bird nesting balls I make? I stuff little dried grapevine balls full of wool and alpaca fiber and hang them from twine so you can hang them from trees or near bird feeders and birds (and squirrels apparently) come and take what they need to build their nests or pad their bird houses.

People always ask, "do the birds really use them?" YES! I know they do because I see them grab the wool, and you can see the wool pulled out of the ball and i can see rhe wool on the bird houses around our property, but I haven't been able to get a good photo... that is, until today!

As the leaves fell off of our dogwood tree this weekend, my husband spotted a nest... and look what's in it!!! It's wool from our homestead!! I am so excited and happy!
