What started as a remodel and addition became something much more.

This project is a great example of how thoughtful residential design can transform an existing home. From the private office and covered breezeway to the connection between indoor and outdoor living spaces, every element was designed to feel like part of the original home.

The goal wasn’t simply to add square footage. It was to create a home where everything works together.

That’s what we strive for at Countryside Design.

Good design starts long before the plans are drawn.

This Garden City property sits in an area that continues to evolve, with new single-family homes, townhomes and apartments taking shape around it.

The existing structures will make way for two residential lots—one for the property owner’s new home and another for a new investment property.

For us, projects like this start with understanding the site, the neighborhood and the opportunity before we ever start designing the home.

We’ll be sharing more as this project moves from planning → design → construction.
