Viper may be a spoiled pretty boy AKA Fabio... but he is all business when it comes to these quints. Proud of this boy 🐾

Behind the scenes with the current litter. Deworming and microchipping are done.

Microchipping is incredibly important for working dogs. If a guardian ever gets separated while protecting livestock or tracking a predator, that chip is their ticket back home. For us, health testing, tracking, and proper care are all part of being accountable to this amazing breed.

We are proud advocates for all Livestock Guardian Dogs and the ranches and homesteads they protect. If you’re looking to add a guardian to your operation or just have questions about how they work, our door is always open.

From calf duty last week to lamb patrol last night 🐾
Remember Elsa, our bottle lamb from last year? Well, last night she gave birth to her very first set of twins, and Titan hasn't left her side since.
It is just amazing to watch his natural instincts kick in. He went from hanging out with the big calves to being the most gentle, supportive protector for this new little family.
Good boy, Titan. Welcome to the world, little ones! 🐑❤️

Brinks is showing off some new bling. This handmade collar set came from Turkey. He wore it well, don't you think?

Morning chores come with some pretty great perks. Had to stop for a minute to watch these elk and their calves heading back up the mountain.
Just another day in the valley

Talk about an evening surprise 👀
We went out for routine chores and found Pretty Face showing off not one, not two, but FIVE brand-new, healthy little lambs.

She is taking it all in stride like an absolute rockstar. Nature never ceases to amaze us out here.

Drop some love for Pretty Face in the comments, she definitely earned it 👇🐑

The Definition of "On Duty"

40 acres, several cows and 1 sleeping giant.

Titan is doing exactly what he was bred to do: staying with the stock, no matter the distractions. Cars and bikes are just background noise when you have a purpose this deep.

I’ve been sitting here trying to think of something clever to say because we hit 5,000 followers, but honestly? I’m just grateful 🥹

Ranching can be pretty isolating work sometimes. Most days it's just us, the dogs, and the livestock out here on this land. Having this space to share our 'ranch reality' and the Boz Shepherds with you all makes the world feel a lot smaller in the best way. 🐾

Knowing that so many people care about what we’re doing here means more than I can put into words. Whether you’ve been here since the start or just joined us, thank you for letting us share our life and this dirt with you. The gate is always open here.
Just call first 😉

Sunday funday?
More like Sunday school for Batur.
It was a beautiful day to get outside, but I think Batur is still deciding if this "leash thing" is actually a good idea.
We’re getting there 🐾

How was your Sunday? 😊
