🏠✨ Another Roof Brought Back to Life! ✨🏠

This beautiful home received a brand-new roof featuring TAMKO Titan XT® Premium Architectural Shingles. Not only does a new roof improve curb appeal, but it also provides the protection and peace of mind every homeowner deserves.

For this project, we:
✅ Removed multiple layers of worn shingles
✅ Installed new TAMKO Titan XT® shingles
✅ Improved the home’s overall appearance and protection
✅ Backed the installation with our workmanship warranty

We love seeing the difference a quality roofing system can make. The hardest part should be picking out the color!

If you can still see most of your contractor, the remodel is going fine. 😆

While replacing water-damaged flooring, we had to get underneath the structure to inspect and repair the framing.

The finished floor will never show this part of the job, but this is where lasting repairs happen.

Every renovation comes with surprises. This one came with shingles. 😅

While this was an unexpected find, it’s definitely not the strangest thing we’ve uncovered during a renovation.

Join us at the Rubber Duck Regatta and stop by the Choctaw Roofing & Renovations booth for some family-friendly fun!

🔹 Check out our Schluter® waterproofing display and see the same waterproofing system we use in our custom showers.

🔹 See Kinley’s waterproof shoebox challenge in person! After being waterproofed with Schluter® KERDI membrane, her cardboard shoebox successfully held water for hours. It’s a fun way to demonstrate how shower waterproofing works before tile is ever installed.

🔹 Snap a picture at our photo bench and capture some fun memories from the event.

🦆 Don’t forget to purchase your ducks! Ducks will be available for purchase at the event, and all proceeds go right back into our community through local park improvements and community projects.

💧 The Results Are In! 💧

A few days ago we asked if Kinley's waterproofed shoebox would hold water.

The votes are in, and so are the results...

The cardboard shoebox held water for over 4 hours!

Kinley waterproofed the box using:
✅ Schluter® KERDI Membrane
✅ KERDI-BAND
✅ Handmade corners
✅ Schluter® All-Set mortar

For a fun little experiment, we'd call that a success!

This challenge also highlights something many homeowners don't realize: tile and grout aren't what make a shower waterproof. The waterproofing system behind the tile is what protects your shower from water damage.

Thank you to everyone who voted and followed along with Kinley's challenge. We think she may have a future in the remodeling business! 👷‍♀️💙

Can a cardboard shoebox hold water? 🤔💧

Today we gave Kinley a challenge.

After helping us waterproof showers, we handed her a cardboard shoebox and told her to make it waterproof using the same products we use in our shower systems.

She installed:
✅ Schluter Kerdi Membrane
✅ Kerdi-Band
✅ Handmade corners
✅ Schluter All-Set mortar

Once it’s cured and dried we’ll fill it with water and see if her waterproofing skills pass the test.

💙 What a great evening at the first-ever Stigler Farmers Night Market! 🌟

A special shoutout to Kinley, our youngest team member, who donated her evening to run the tattoo station, applying complimentary tattoos for kids and adults alike. She takes her role at Choctaw Roofing very seriously—and yes, she even has her own business cards! 😄

It was wonderful to see downtown Stigler filled with families, local vendors, small businesses, and neighbors enjoying a beautiful evening together. Events like this remind us how blessed we are to be part of such a supportive community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, got a tattoo, played co****le, shared a laugh, or simply took a minute to visit with us.

A special thank you to the Stigler Farmer’s Market and everyone who worked hard to make the very first Night Market a success. We can’t wait for the next night market!
