Grand rising! Have a great day! Look for the goodness and be thankful! It’s what you “see” and “think” that gives you the power to make it through.

This week I embarked on something new and I felt very overwhelmed by it. I was talking to someone and they brought to my attention that it is how I was looking at this new thing that brought so much pressure to me. Instead of it being another thing to add to my plate, it is actually an opportunity to enhance what I already have. Each day I have thanked God for this opportunity that He has blessed me with. It has made all the difference!

She received presidential honors as well when she recited “On the Pulse of Morning” poem at President Bill Clinton’s 1993 inauguration and President Barack Obama awarded her with the Presidential Medal of Freedom!
