A Couple of Cold Weather Tips:

Make sure your outdoor vents are clear of snow(heating, hot water, dryer etc.)

Look for long icicles over doorways. I knock mine off with a broom handle, through the upstairs window.

Watch for ice dams on your roof. I put ice melt in large panty hose and place it near the gutters.

If going away for the weekend, turn faucet s and showers to a drip, help prevent pipe freezing. Open under sink cabinet door, to help heat in

Check /replace batteries in the carbon monoxide detectors.
