Do you propagate plants in your fish tanks?!
If yes, can I see?! π
This was just a little experiment i did last month when I had to cut a bunch of my philodendron burle Marx after some branches got too heavy and began to snap... so the really big pieces I figured id try to prop in the fish tank... (mainly because i didnt have enough big vases to fit all the big pieces) but also because i have been wanting to do a little experiement to see how propagating in my betta fish tank would go!
Here's my findings thus far:
The roots are growing twice as fast in the fish tank than they do in a vase... so thats definitely a plus!
Gill (my daughters betta fish) also really loves hiding in them lol. So thats also a plus! (I actually think hes gonna be upset when I take them out to pot them up! )
The tank also seems to need cleaned less oftenπ€―...(which honestly doesnt make any sense so it could just be a fluke thing... ill have to report back next month to know for sure. )
We usually clean the tank once every 2 weeks... Its been 4! So, Im definitely anxious to see if the same thing happens for next month.... π€
