Welcome to Lucky Strike Custom Baits!

Hey everyone, I’m James Atkinson—avid outdoorsman, lure painter, and the proud owner of Lucky Strike Custom Baits. I’ve had a fishing rod in my hands since I was a kid, making memories on Ohio’s inland lakes in a 12ft Jon boat with my dad.

Fast forward to 2019: my good friend Matt Bunch and I won the Lake Erie Walleye Fall Brawl using a crankbait I custom painted. That moment lit the fire that became Lucky Strike Custom Baits.

Here, I specialize in hand-painted crankbaits and stickbaits designed for performance and inspired by experience. Every lure is crafted with attention to detail and tested with passion.
