👌Tips for color drenching your space Part 3…
1-Think about the furniture you have in the space. Make sure it all coordinates nicely with the color you choose or provides a strong contrast, depending on the look you are going for. When done well, choosing a gorgeous paint color to contrast your furniture will create a room that really stands out.
2-Darker paints often show scuffing and stains more easily than you would think. Lighter paint is an issue if you have a very dark scratch that you can’t get off but tends to hide every day dirt and light grime fairly well. Interestingly, your best bet is a medium value paint if wear and tear is a concern and I would go with an eggshell or a satin finish on the wall.

💙Part 2– Tips for color drenching…
1. Darker paints often show scuffing and stains more easily than you would think. 2. Think about the finish that you use! Even if you are going the high gloss route on the trim and doors (which is very popular right now and looks gorgeous if done right!) be sure to use a different finish on your walls. Otherwise, your space will look very flat. You would be surprised how dimensional a colored drenched room can look when three different finishes are used!

🖌️Tips for color drenching your room Part 1.
🖌️ Consider how much light your room gets. Keep in mind that south facing well lit spaces can often handle heavily saturated colors a lot better. It’s not to say you can’t do a really dark color in a small less lit space but just know that it will look cooler and more cave-like than if you went with a lighter color in the same space.
