📖 Okay y’all… I’m back with another story from a client’s house. 😂
Yesterday, while we were cleaning for one of our longtime recurring clients, something happened that had me smiling the rest of the day.
Her husband was joking around with me and said, “My wife is on my mind 24/7. I can’t even think without thinking about what she’s thinking!” 😂
And the whole time he was talking, his wife was just sitting there smiling and laughing. ❤️
I don’t know how to explain it, but the love in that room felt so pure. It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t for show. It was just there. You could feel it in the way they looked at each other, talked to each other, and laughed together.
Now, what her husband didn’t know was that he created a problem for me. 🤣
As soon as we finished cleaning, I called my husband and said, “You know what? I need to be on your mind 24/7.”
Y’all… that man started laughing so hard. 😭😂
Then he said, “What client house did you go to today?”
I said, “What do you mean?”
He said, “Because every time you come home talking like this, I already know somebody said something at a client’s house!” 🤦🏾♀️🤣
Then he kept laughing and said, “Leave those people alone and let me work!”
At that point, I knew I wasn’t getting the romantic response I was looking for. 😂😂
But honestly, witnessing that kind of love made my heart happy. Sometimes we go into homes to clean, but we leave with little reminders that love is still out there. Genuine love, friendship, laughter, and partnership still exist.
And to my sweet clients… if you’re reading this, thank you for making us smile. ❤️
