elping people. I bring with me over 15 years of experience and knowledge in my trade. Along with a small crew of experienced installers whom I have trained. As a team, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of professionalism and quality work. Our passion for true craftmanship and attention to detail is what separates us from your average installers. We work with a variety of material vendors to optimize options on styles, selections, and locations to shop. This allows customers to speak directly with experienced sales and design specialist. While also providing peace of mind through simplicity and money saving opportunities. Even though, we're based out of Sullivan, Mo., we do work as far as from St. Louis to Rolla and surrounding areas, including all areas in-between. Our most important goal will always be customer satisfaction. Did you know the lowest tile bid can become the most expensive one?

When comparing estimates, it’s easy to focus on the number at the bottom. But with tile installation, a lower price upfront doesn't always mean a lower cost in the long run.

A lot of what determines how well tile holds up happens before you ever see the finished surface.

Proper installation includes things like:

▪️ Preparing and leveling the surface
▪️ Waterproofing wet areas correctly
▪️ Using the appropriate setting materials
▪️ Planning layouts, grout lines and cuts before installation begins
▪️ Making sure tiles are installed evenly
▪️ Taking the time to do the job correctly instead of rushing through it

When those steps are skipped or done poorly, the problems may not show up right away. Later, you could be dealing with cracked grout, loose or hollow tiles, uneven surfaces, moisture damage or even removing everything and starting over.

Tile is meant to last for decades. When you're comparing contractors, don't just ask what the project costs. Ask what's included in doing it right. The goal shouldn't be to pay for your tile installation twice. 👏

Thinking about large-format tile for your custom home? Here are a few things you should know first. 👇

There’s a reason it has become such a popular choice. Fewer grout lines can create a cleaner, more open look, and it can be absolutely beautiful in showers, bathrooms, kitchens, entryways, and open living spaces.

But there are a few things you may not realize:

▪️ The surface underneath matters a lot. Large tile requires an exceptionally flat surface. Small imperfections can create much bigger problems once those oversized pieces start going down.

▪️ Bigger doesn't mean faster. Fewer tiles may sound like less work, but large-format tile can require more planning, specialized handling, precise cuts, and careful leveling.

▪️ Layout becomes even more important. With larger pieces, awkward cuts and poorly placed grout lines are much harder to hide. Where the installation starts can affect how the entire finished space looks.

▪️ Uneven edges are easier to notice. This is called lippage, and it's one reason proper preparation and installation technique matter so much with larger tile.

Large-format tile can create an incredible finished space, but the installation is every bit as important as the tile you choose. Let me know if I can answer questions or be of service!

A backsplash might not take up the most square footage in a kitchen, but it can have a huge impact on how the entire space comes together.

Going custom gives you the opportunity to do more than fill the space between the countertops and cabinets. You can incorporate unique patterns, interesting layouts, statement tile, subtle texture, or details that complement the rest of the home.
