This year, Christmas has crept up on me. Following an intense period of hard work to deliver Christmas gifts and orders on schedule, I am relieved to say that I am close to finishing, except for one final special project request from my daughter for a friend. With the year coming to a close, I am outlining plans for artistic development in the new year and am excited to expand my knowledge.

Before the Christmas rush begins, I'm wrapping up several projects, before starting more leaves and ornaments. The holidays are approaching and I'm thrilled!

Over the past month, I have diligently worked on crafting a trio of leaves for a valued friend. Unfortunately, the medium leaf was accidentally damaged beyond repair, prompting me to recreate it with the guidance of my mentor, who kindly corrected my errors. The new piece is slightly larger, yet proportionate within the trio, and features a copper patina selected by my friend, yielding a truly impressive result that even impressed my mentor. I take great pride in this ensemble and hope it meets her expectations. Next, I will focus on crafting a star suncatcher piece for her.

Over the past week, I experienced a series of setbacks. Unfortunately, I damaged my medium monstera leaf and was forced to restart. Additionally, I suffered a near-ankle injury, resulting in a week-long convalescence. Nevertheless, I've made progress with this new pattern and am pleased with the outcome. My mentor provided invaluable assistance with this revised design, and I'm grateful for her expertise and guidance.

The past couple of days have seen me perfecting my grinding, and carefully foiling and soldering the remaining components of the Monstera trio. Over the weekend, I made significant progress on my projects, working tirelessly to perfect and dispatch packages today, achieving my objectives. The last two pieces of the trio are nearly complete, with one already foiled and ready for soldering, leaving me with a strong sense of accomplishment.
