Another leak…. Another drywall repair.

Cut out water damaged drywall✅. Install new drywall secured to the studs✅. Pre-fill larger gaps✅. Tape edges and apply joint compound 3X✅. Sand smooth and apply final skim coat✅. Sand again and oil prime✅. Paint✅

Smokey Azurite from Sherwin Williams on this kitchen.

This customer wanted a kitchen refresh without breaking the bank. Installed new floor, new baseboard, custom radiator cover, custom exhaust vent cover, painted all walls and woodwork. Touched up the black drop ceiling tracks that had paint on them from a previous painter and replaced the light cover. (It’s in the small details).

Large drywall repair in this entryway. The customer had a leak and needed their drywall and insulation replaced.

There is a reason drywall repair costs more than installing drywall in an unfinished room. The process includes;

1) removing quarter round and baseboards.
2) cutting perimeter drywall as to not damage the walls that are not being replaced.
3) removing the drywall and nails/screws
4)carefully removing corner guards as to not damage the walls you are not replacing
5) install new drywall
6) tape and compound (first coat) and allow to dry
7) second coat of joint compound and allow to dry
8)third coat of compound and allow to dry.
9) sand compound and clean up.
10) prime all repairs and allow to dry
11) first coat of paint and allow to dry
12) 2nd coat of paint and allow to dry
13) cut and install new baseboard and quarter round
14) paint baseboards

Quite a few steps and dry times make drywall repair much more expensive than drywall installs in an unfinished room. And you can see why. Besides the many steps, it is a messy job and requires lots of prep and clean-up.

This customer had water come in their entryway from a roof leak. It damaged the drywall on the ceiling and wall, as well as the insulation. I removed all damaged drywall and insulation. Installed new insulation and two sheets of drywall. Put new corner beads in and applied the first coat of drywall mud.

Two more coats of mud, priming, painting, and new baseboards to follow!

Quick refresh of this bedroom. When demo and a drywall install is out of your budget, a refresh of old paneling still makes a huge difference.

Caulked all cracks, repaired holes in door and paneling, painted and reinstalled shelves in closet, painted closet, replaced vent covers, painted all walls and trim.

Replaced the window well failing wood and reattached window coverings for one of my best customers! I have worked on every interior room for this customer, as well as, many exterior tasks. Repeat customers and personal referrals are amazing!! Keep them coming please and thank you!!!

This door received the proper treatment. Scuff sanded ✅ pressure washed ✅ primed ✅ painted.

This ceiling was in very bad shape. Chipping/peeling paint and failing drywall tape all over. Properly repairing these kinds of issues is a process that requires multiple trips and knowledge of the right products to use. This one came out amazing and the customer was extremely satisfied with the results. Scheduling for mid June. Reach out!

A few repairs and some serious sanding had these areas looking new and refreshed! Agreeable Gray by Sherwin.

This is the third time returning to this customers home. They know I will do the job properly and not half ass things! They trust me to come in and out of their home while they are at work. They have referred me to many new customers! This type of trust and relationship are the backbone of my business!

The homeowner gave up on this powder room after removing the wallpaper. The walls were covered in glue residue and really beat up. They needed the correct process to clean the glue, seal the residue, smooth the walls out, and then prime and paint. I loved the outcome. Color is Biscuit by Sherwin Williams.
