We spent a great afternoon at ULI's Capital Region's Trends in Real Estate event, hosted at FSU's Turnbull Conference Center. We're excited for the grand opening of FSU's Legacy Hall to all students and faculty! In collaboration with Boston architects Goody Clancy, EMI was able to lead and facilitate the complete Furnishings, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) scope for the new facility, from design and selection to proposal review and installation. With the new term just around the corner, we wish all students, staff, and faculty many great semesters in Legacy Hall!

This project takes inspiration from the building's primary function - diagnosing, and otherwise caring for, ailments related to ligaments, tendons and bones, through the twofold idea of a connecting tissue (ligaments and tendons) implied by a lightweight custom curtain wall that would connect to solid masses consisting of smaller punched openings; the "bones“ of the project.

EMI has had the opportunity to work on a variety of education projects, in both K-12 and Higher Education applications. From small renovations to full-scale builds, we recognize the influence of an educational environment in the mindset of students and faculty, and strive to create engaging spaces that will be used for years to come. We're so grateful to be able to support students and faculty as they work, study, and play throughout the school year.
