We’ve been growing fast, but more importantly, we’ve been growing right. And it shows.

This news has been sitting on my desk (and in my drafts) since last Thursday… not because it wasn’t worth shouting from the rooftops, but because I’ve been neck-deep in design consults, job site walk-throughs, summer camps, daycare chaos, and a teething baby who thinks sleep is optional. 😅

We placed #16 on the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50 list, which ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the region based on three-year revenue growth from 2022 through 2024.

Last year, Revive took #1, and landing in the top 20 again this year says a lot. Anyone can have a standout season, but continued growth takes real structure, accountability, and one hell of a team.

And it’s not just numbers on a list. We’re seeing that growth in real time, especially through the amount of referrals we’ve received and what we like to call “reloads,” when a client brings us back after one project to tackle another part of their home. There’s no better compliment than being invited back. It means the trust is there, the experience was solid, and the results spoke for themselves.

This photo captures just a fraction of who makes Revive what it is. The company now has over 60 full-time employees and, through a rigorous vetting process, has built construction crews across Tampa Bay with only the most talented, reliable, and detail-oriented professionals in the industry. I’d confidently say we’re working with the best in the state. Is it too much to say best in the country? Asking for a friend.

Most of the faces here have been around since day one. We’ve powered through the highs, the headaches, the all-nighters, the occasional “wait, is that wall load-bearing?” moment, and more than a few end of month tequila shots. Sure, we’ve hit bumps. This is construction, not cupcake decorating. But we always make it right, finish strong, and show up the next day ready to do it all again.

We might be a slightly dysfunctional little family, but we’re a damn good one.

Behind the Backsplash – Episode 1

This happened on Wednesday, but my week turned into absolute chaos and I’m only just getting around to posting it now. You know how it goes.

Thinking this might be the start of a new series I call Behind the Backsplash. Not just about kitchens and renovations (though we love a good transformation), but about the amazing people and conversations that happen along the way.

This consult started with, “I love your truck!”
(For those who don’t know, I drive a soft-top Jeep Gladiator and I’m obsessed with it.)
Naturally, I looked over and she had an even bigger beast. We were off to a good start.

But beyond the laughs and design talk, I had the honor of meeting a truly incredible woman. She built her catering business from the ground up. No shortcuts, no handouts. She pushed through serious challenges, kept showing up, and succeeded in the most inspiring way. Her story resonated with me and reminded me of some things I’ve walked through in my own life.

I work with so many powerhouse business owners, and hearing their “come-up” stories never gets old. It’s not just about kitchens. It’s about people.

This kitchen behind us? It won’t be here much longer, and I cannot wait to recreate this photo at the end of the project with a space that reflects every bit of her strength, style, and success.

Some projects stay with you forever, not just because of the design, but because of the people.

When I met Jason and Maria, I wasn’t pregnant, more children wasn’t even a thought in my mind!
Midway through the design process, I found out I was expecting.
By the time we wrapped their full home renovation, I had just given birth to Levi… and Friday on my day off (in full mum-mode), I finally got to bring my now one-year-old back to meet the family who unknowingly changed the course of my career.

Their project went on to win 1st place at NARI - the biggest award of the night for Full Home Remodel. And it’s no exaggeration to say this was the renovation that put us ( ) on the map to truly be the leader and specialists in full home remodels.

What many don’t know is that my pregnancy was a rough journey - filled with unexpected complications, risks, and scary conversations about Levi’s health. During that time, Jason and Maria offered me some of the most thoughtful, grounding words I could’ve asked for. Their kindness stayed with me long after the project was complete.

Friday felt especially sentimental - standing in their beautiful home again, holding my healthy, thriving boy, and remembering how intertwined our lives became during such a personal and vulnerable season.

Everything happens for a reason… and I truly believe I was meant to be part of this family’s life. I hope I always will be.

To Jason and Maria - thank you for trusting me with your home and your hearts. Your belief in me gave me the courage to take up space as a woman in a very male-dominated industry. You were part of a turning point I’ll never forget.

And to KJ - thank you for introducing me to this absolute dream of a family. I’ll forever be grateful.

When a project wraps up and sweet gifts show up… you know it was a good one!

Bookended the day with our classic front-step photos—one pre-race full of energy (and delusion), and one post-race where we somehow still managed to rally for brunch. These stairs have become our family’s unofficial photo booth, capturing everything from meltdowns to milestones—and today, they got a sweaty 5K sandwich.

Started the morning at Girls on the Run 5K at Al Lopez Park—Ava and Vince absolutely crushed it while I took on the endurance event no one talks about: pushing a double stroller uphill, downhill, and through toddler snack negotiations. Shoutout to the program for inspiring girls to be confident, joyful, and fierce—I saw all of that and more in Ava’s little face as she crossed the finish line like a champ.

We celebrated at in Hyde Park (new fave brunch spot), where Levi entered a full-blown lemon and lime phase—squeezing them like stress balls and emotionally unraveling after every taste. Big day. Big hearts. Big brunch. And somehow, our front steps held us through it all—again.
