A Kind Note From Papaw’s Lawn Care:
From our family to yours, we want to share something important from the heart. Papaw always taught us that a handshake should mean something, that your word is your bond, and that neighbors look out for one another. Those old‑fashioned values are the roots of our little family business.
But as times have changed, we’ve run into a few situations where that trust hasn’t been returned. We understand that life happens — folks have emergencies, bills pile up, and sometimes you’re caring for others who need you. We truly get it. Still, we’ve had moments where our team has been left unpaid or communication has gone quiet, and it’s taken a toll on our small operation.
To keep serving our community the way our Papaw's would want, we’re putting a few simple policies in place:
• Email will now be required for all work orders.
This helps us keep everything clear and documented, so no one gets confused, and our crew is protected.
• Photos will be taken before and after each job.
Not to be fancy — just to show the honest work we’ve done and avoid misunderstandings.
• Larger jobs may require a deposit or partial payment during the project.
This ensures we can cover materials and labor, and keep things moving smoothly.
We don’t make these changes lightly. Our Operations Manager has spent countless hours trying to track down payments when folks disappear, and that’s time we’d rather spend caring for properties and serving our neighbors.
Thank you for understanding, for supporting a small family business, and for helping us keep our Papaw’s values alive. We appreciate every one of you.
