Rooting away to find all the nutrient rich goodies underground. They've been doing an amazing job at helping us keep the invasive weeds down too!

When we moved here, our woods were filled with multiflora rose (briars) so badly that we couldn't walk around in the woods at all. Luckily these pigs love to snack on them!

We ventured over to The Titusville Mill to host a Hanging Basket Workshop. It was so exciting seeing how unique everyone's baskets were!

There's nothing quite like flowers, foo foo coffee, and great company on this beautiful mother's day 💐

You’ll choose your basket, your blooms, and build it all yourself, with everything provided and just enough guidance to make it relaxing and enjoyable.

Yesterday was a successful day!

We got the animals moved to a new section of pasture. They are loving it just as much as we are!

We also got the garden tilled and the soil is night and day difference! Last year the soil was tilled without anything else added. It was heavy, wet, compacted clay. Although we also tilled last year the soil ended up compacting back down as if nothing was done. It was so hard that we could barely dig with a shovel.

Now the soil is dark chocolate, aerated, nutrient packed, and FULL of beneficial microbes from right here on the farm.

Although we would love to practice the no-till method, it is required at first to get heavy clay soils workable. Now that it is workable we will be able to use the broadfork instead of a tiller next year.

So excited to get the garden laid out and get plants in the ground! 🌿

Here's everything we have growing in the greenhouse right now!

A mix of flowers & veggies throughout.

Some things are just starting to sprout but are fast growing plants -- like tomatoes 🍅

If you're interested in more unique varieties, I will have a ton of extra plants! Only $3 per plant.

I can drop off as I go through Titusville, Meadville, Franklin, etc. Or you can stop by and pick them out youself 😁
