This job was a very unfortunate situation. They had so many beautiful Oak trees and Beech trees. A company, I won’t mention any names, told them to top all their tall trees and they will grow back. WRONG! That was a lie! They ALL died!! It was very upsetting to see honesty. We had a total of 12 trees that were topped that we took down today. A couple trees had lights on them that she wanted to keep so they left a couple 10 ft poles for now. These were not small trees either. They might look small in the pictures, but they weren’t.
Take a look a these before and after pics. You won’t ever see jobs clean up like this, unless they use a crane, possibly. Her husband got home and couldn’t believe we took all those trees out and the grass wasn’t messed up at all, matter of fact, they said it looked so much better AFTER we were there. This is how we are on EVERY job! We take pride in our work and the way it looks when we leave. Please don’t let anyone ever talk you into topping your trees!

Big Ole’ Pecan Tree removal! This gorgeous tree had unfortunately succumbed to extensive decay. Homeowners were experiencing frequent branch loss and were understandably concerned about the impending snow and ice storm this weekend. We plan to plant a new tree this Spring. You may have seen warnings about “exploding trees” with the upcoming freezing weather.

Trees don’t actually explode, but freezing conditions can cause frost cracks. When temperatures drop suddenly, water inside the tree expands and contracts faster than the bark can handle, causing the outer layer to split. These frost cracks, along with branches breaking under the weight of ice, can create loud popping or cracking sounds that sometimes get described as “explosions.”

For your safety, keep a good distance from trees with heavy ice buildup or visible damage. Wait for conditions to improve before approaching or assessing any broken branches.
